Reports to Medical Mentor. The incumbent will work closely with the Proudz leadership, MOH and other PEPFAR implementing partner providers to support CETA project activities across the CIDRZ supported provinces. She/ he will supervise CETA counselors including ensuring trainings are carried out, counselors are accredited and linkages for referrals are established.  He/she will be responsible for providing regular feedback on CETA activities across the specified partners and provinces. 
 
Main duties 
  • Supports MoH to establish systems and procedures to ensure all eligible clients receive appropriate CETA per guidelines. 
  • Provides technical support to co-trainers to ensure they understand CIDRZ policies and procedures
  • Ensures that trainings are conducted according to work plan timeline
  • Ensures that the all co-trainers and counsellor mentors understand the process to ensure potential clients are identified, screened and enrolled in care and treatment.
  • Ensures regular communication with the Medical Mentor and IPs for technical assistance to guide CETA integration.
  • Ensures timely submission of weekly clinical data for regular weekly updates
  • Coordinates meetings with the CETA implementing partners and attend planning meetings as necessary.
  • Supports the development and implementation of CETA and PFA scale up plans
  • Support the provision of appropriate training and certification of CETA counselors
  • Ensures TOT clinical data bases are updated timely
  • Planning and coordinating departmental activities and ensuring prompt execution of planned activities
  • Management of departmental work plan and budgeting for program activities
  • Ensure project supplies are ordered, monitored and managed according to CIDRZ inventory and tracking practices.
  • Prepares Interim Progress Reports, Annual Progress Report, Semi-Annual and Annual Reports, and Country Operating Plan narratives
  • Ensures prompt submission of monthly draw down and request for activity funds by team members
  • Submits abstracts and attend both local and international conferences 
Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Public Health is an added advantage
  • At least 5 years relevant experience working with the community 
  • Must be a CETA trainer
  • At least 1 year relevant experience working with CETA in Zambia required
  • Proficient in MS word and MS Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Must be a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
