The incumbent will provide strategic direction, technical leadership and supervision for strategic vision and work planning, coordination, and monitoring of program activities to strengthen provision of PrEP,GBV, CaCx, VMMC and STI prevention services and ensure that CIDRZ-DHAPP achieves the project objectives. She/He will provide expert technical oversight and support as needed to improve Prevention services across the cascade. 

Main duties
  • Develops and implements comprehensive biomedical HIV prevention strategies and programs at national level and disseminated in respective networks 
  • Coordinats with other local organizations, including MoH and healthcare providers to ensure effective delivery of HIV prevention services. 
  • Provides technical assistance and capacity building support to local organizations and health agencies to improve prevention programs and services. 
  • Conducts regular assessments of prevention needs and gaps in the province and developing action plans to address them. 
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of prevention programs and interventions in the province and reporting on progress towards goals and targets. 
  • Develops and disseminats educational materials and resources on HIV prevention to the public, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders in the province. 
  • Advocates for policies and programs that support prevention efforts and promote the rights and dignity of people living with HIV. 
  • Builds and maintains partnerships with key stakeholders in the province, including government agencies, civil society organizations, community groups, and donors. 
  • Manages budgets, grants, and contracts related to HIV prevention programs and services in the province. 
  • Provides regular reports on the progress of HIV prevention programs and interventions  
  • Works with supply chain personnel to ensure the supply chain of commodities is not interrupted in the province. 
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual and reports as required using the recommended format. 
  • Participates in the preparation of continuation applications 
Qualifications
  • Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate 
  • Degree in Nursing/Clinical Medical Sciences/or related field (Masters in health field is an added advantage) 
  • Must be registered with relevant medical body and have a valid Practicing License. 
  • Minimum of five years of work experience in HIV programming and coordination. 
  • At least 3 years in HIV prevention program 
  • Experience in facilitation and training applying adult learning principles and practices, clinical mentoring, and coaching. 
  • Experience with program monitoring and evaluation 
  • Must have a high level of confidentiality and Integrity. 
  • Trustworthy and honest. 
  • Must be a team player 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
