Reporting to the District ART Team Lead. The incumbent will work closely with clinical and M&E teams to implement ZIH activities. She/he will be monitoring, evaluating and reporting of performance and results. The District Data Coordinator will also be responsible to support overall district data collection and reporting for all supported facilities.

Main Duties:

  • Works closely with the facility staff to collect monthly and quarterly reports as required.
  • Collects and compiles monthly summary statistics for all the districts
  • Conducts DQAs with M & E and clinical teams
  • Produces facility and District reports and identify the successes and challenges of the program.
  • Provides feedback to the M & E teams on project strategies and activities.
  • Compiles and submits all the required reports for management, District Mentor and SI manager.
  • Provides feedback to the facilities on the performance of indicators and monitor progress of improvement.
  • Monitors and reports progress towards targets and identify gaps in service delivery
  • Tracks action points arising from, during program discussions and meetings
  • Ensures SC is running in facilities by reporting all issues to TechTeam/EHRO for quick action
  • Develops and performs monthly quality control measures; identify problems and provide feedback to relevant staff
  • Acts as liaison between the Data unit, Lusaka District under CIDRZ and the District office
  • Support and conduct facility monthly and quarterly data review meetings
  • Monitors by identify gaps and mentor staff in DHIS2 ,support in rectifying monthly errors entered DHIS2.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Diploma in Information Management/Computer Science, M&E training or related field.
  • 3 years minimum work experience 
  • Experience and proficient working with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with electronic data collection tools like DHIS2, ODK, etc.
  • Experience managing staff and coordinating data collecting and reporting activities at facility level.
  • Experience working in a research or public health setting will be an added advantage.
