The ZIH Project Manager provides all administrative oversight of the ZIH project and is directly responsible for managing project staff, ensuring the workplan is executed in a timely manner and project output targets are met, and monitoring all expenditures against the project budget. 

Main duties
  • Effective planning and management of project workplan.
  • Efficiently coordinate internal communication between teams
  • Efficiently coordinate external communication and collaboration with Ministry of Health, PACT and any other relevant stakeholders
  • Effectively coordinate with other CIDRZ teams to leverage internal resources.
  • Monitoring of Project indicators on a monthly basis.
  • Effectively manage and review Project expenses to ensure adherence to project budget.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. government and CIDRZ financial regulations and guidelines.
  • Ensure Project supplies are monitored and managed according to standard CIDRZ inventory tracking practices.
  • Effectively manage ZIH staff for efficient Project implementation.  
  • Timely preparation of required reports , including but not limited to: Interim Progress Report, Annual Progress Report, Semi-Annual and Annual USAID Reports, and Country Operating Plan narratives.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Public Health, Project Management, Business Administration, or other relevant field
  • At least 5 years' experience managing public health or clinical research Projects
  • Experience with international donor projects preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical and able to work with minimum supervision
